The WV BeerFest is West Virginia’s Newest beer festival, that not only celebrates the amazing Craft Beverages our state can produce, but also will showcase the standards you have always loved. The 2024 event is the Inaugural Event and will be held at Mylan Park in Morgantown WV. WV BeerFest takes place on April 20, 2024, indoors at the Hazel & J.W. Ruby Community Center. We’ll be featuring 40+ breweries and 100+ beers, ciders, hard seltzers, meads, and more.
WVBF will be your springtime go to for exclusive and rare beers, one-offs, and special beers you can’t find on store shelves. Since brewers never know when beers will be ready, we will release the beer list about 1 week before the event. Grab your tickets now, as this event WILL sell out in advance

While drinking beer is good, drinking beer at the WV BeerFest “does good”. The WV BeerFest will make a contribution from the event to the Country Roads Trust. The Country Roads Trust is an exclusive member-driven marketplace that provides one-of-a-kind benefits to West Virginia fans and connects them to the program and players like never before through Name, Image, & Likeness (NIL) opportunities, allowing WVU student-athletes to monetize their individual and collective brands.

As we release the breweries, just know that our beer lists from them won’t be finalized until about a week out from the event. We will release them sooner if possible, but some breweries may not know their full stock or may even have some special one-offs to run at the event until the week before.

Important Details
The WV BeerFest is a tasting and sampling—not a drinking—event. With the large number of beers available no attendee will be allowed, nor should expect, to overindulge so as to create a situation that would need to be dealt with by onsite support over the course of the event.
Be aware that cash will be required for ticket, food, and other purchases during the event. Please come prepared. Multiple ATMs are available in the lobby area of the Hazel & J.W. Ruby Community Center but should not be considered a reliable source of funds.
Attendees are strongly encouraged to get a ride to and from the venue and leave your vehicle at home. We strongly discourage drinking and driving. Play it smart, designate a driver who does not drink, or get a ride for your safety and the safety of others. Lyft, Uber, Hotel Shuttles, Motown Taxi, or having a designated driver with you is strongly encouraged.
Designated drivers may volunteer and save the cost of admission. Volunteer opportunities will be announced soon on our volunteer page.
The WV BeerFest reserves the right to refuse admission, remove, or request law enforcement custody, for any attendee who is visibly intoxicated, aggressive, or detrimental to the enjoyment of the event. No refunds will be issued in this case.
